This action is permanent
Once you delete your account, all your data is immediately removed and cannot be recovered. There is no undo.
📱 How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps inside the Barks and Meows app:
🗑️ What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
Account Info
Your email address and authentication credentials
Pet Profiles
All pet names, ages, and categories you created
Vaccine Records
All vaccination notes, dates, and doctor information
App Preferences
Any settings or preferences you configured
🕐 Data Retention
Immediate deletion: All your data is deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Backup copies in our systems may take up to 30 days to be fully purged. Some data may be retained as required by law for fraud prevention purposes.
💡 Before You Delete
- This is irreversible — you cannot recover your account or data after deletion
- Save your data first — we don't currently offer data export, so save important information manually
- Just need a break? — You can log out and come back anytime without losing your data
